Teen’s death was caused by swine flu

SEBRING — The Health Department has confirmed that the death of 14-year-old Marquis Hamilton on Friday was caused by “complications from H1N1 virus infection.”
Hamilton’s father was taking him to the hospital early Friday morning when the boy stopped breathing. His father pulled over and called 911, but life-saving efforts were unsuccessful.
To date, there have been 87 people in Florida who have died from the swine flu.
